Sustainability and Innovation in Polymer Recycling
SIR offers high-performance recycled plastic solutions, customizable to each client’s specific requirements. With seven state-of-the-art compounding lines, we are able to combine different types of plastic polymers to create innovative, tailor-made compounds ideal for applications ranging from automotive to furniture components, from storage to industrial parts, and beyond.
An Advanced Process for Customized Recycled Polymers
Compounding is the process by which different polymers and additives are fused together to obtain high-performance plastic materials.
Our company stands out for its ability to mix recycled polymers such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (HDPE, LDPE), ABS, and polystyrene in a process that guarantees quality, strength, and versatility in the final product.
Thanks to years of expertise, we provide solutions that meet the highest standards of performance and sustainability.
Our Compounding Products: Excellence and Versatility
SIR produces compounds starting from four types of regenerated polymers from post-industrial and post-consumer waste, branded VERIS, which can be mixed to create tailor-made solutions according to specific needs and marketed in plastic granules.
The entire supply chain, from incoming material to the creation of compounds, is certified Plastica Seconda Vita (Plastic Second Life), ensuring our clients not only quality and versatility but also the high sustainability of our solutions, in line with a responsible and virtuous business model.

SIRPLENE
Our flagship product, regenerated polypropylene compound, is highly versatile and widely applied across automotive, office furniture, storage, garden furniture, batteries, and industrial and civil containers.
This thermoplastic polymer is strong, lightweight, and versatile, with excellent resistance to many chemicals and high durability. Available in two main variants—homopolymer (PPH) and copolymer (PPC)—it can be enhanced with mineral fillers for applications requiring robustness and durability, and is offered in natural, black, or custom-colored versions.
Regenerated polypropylene has physical properties similar to virgin polymer, ensuring the same processability for injection molding and extrusion applications.

SIRTENE
This product range is composed of regenerated polyethylene HDPE (high-density), ideal for applications requiring strength and durability (e.g., construction containers, pots, pallets); and LDPE (low-density), with excellent water resistance, widely used in packaging.
Available in natural, black, or custom-colored versions, recycled polyethylene is widely used in the recycling industry, as increasingly advanced technologies allow it to be perfectly regenerated.
It maintains the physico-mechanical characteristics of virgin material and can be easily processed through extrusion, blow molding, and injection molding.

SIRSTIR
This line consists of crystal or high-impact polystyrene—a material valued for its lightness and versatility, applied in appliances, packaging, and products such as hangers, spools, and more.
During regeneration, polystyrene loses some mechanical properties, but with additives or small percentages of virgin material, it can regain the required performance for many applications.
Commonly known as polystyrene, this polymer is available in natural, black, or colored versions, and can be processed through extrusion, thermoforming, and molding.

SIRLAC
This range is composed of regenerated ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), widely used for structural components in construction and appliances, thanks to its strength, resistance, and durability.
Regenerated ABS properties vary depending on the source application but can be easily modified during processing with the addition of its base monomers.
Available in black or custom-colored versions, ABS offers excellent processability through extrusion and injection molding.

Innovation and Flexibility in Plastic Compounding for Every Application Sector
Every product we manufacture is the result of a highly controlled process and continuous innovation. Our attention to customization and ability to adapt compound characteristics to client specifications make us the ideal partner for companies seeking high-quality regenerated plastics. With a constant focus on sustainability, our mission is to transform recycled plastic into a valuable resource, reducing the ecological footprint and supporting our clients on their green innovation journey.
